At Sidewalk Labs, I helped visualize how utilities and households could better align clean-energy use through a simple resident app experience. My work focused on translating complex renewable-energy data into something everyday users could see and understand.
Overview
Challenge
The concept was highly technical, but hard to picture. My goal was to make it tangible, showing what the experience could look and feel like for real people.
I worked with product and subject matter experts to shape early design concepts for the resident experience.
Clarified user segments and journeys discussed conceptually.
Designed wireframes for connecting devices, tracking savings, and seeing clean-energy impact.
Created illustrated onboarding flows and messaging to communicate AE’s value.
Approach
Delivered early prototypes and visuals that helped turn AE from an abstract idea into a relatable, testable product concept.
Outcome
Visualizing Clean Energy at Home
Turning a complex energy system into a simple, human app experience.
Making the Idea Understandable
Storyboards that turn a complex energy model into simple, relatable scenarios.
