CNN Sections

Ideation, 2012

CNN Politics created a successful business by transforming its newsgathering, coverage, TV assets, and digital resources into one compelling product that audiences are passionate about. In 2012, I worked on a project exploring how this model could extend into other content sections like Finance, Entertainment, Travel, and Health.

The goal was to try and extend the sub-sections from the broader CNN brand so they could stand alone and have their own identity. In my designs, I experimented with custom iconography and type, and also played around with different imagery and layouts.
